Dr. Keven Peter Jackson, DDS Pc

My recent experience at this office wasn't a pleasant one, I've been coming to this office for the last 2-3 years. I had an annual oral exam scheduled for 9am; arrived 8:58am. Myself and a gentlemen was in the waiting room. The technician came out and ask who is first; the receptionist said see Mr. X; she needed to speak with me first. The receptionist proceed to tell me I had a balance from my last visit; a balance of $62.00. I explain to her when that bill was present to me; I called the insurance company and they stated the office was out of network at the time and the insurance company wasn't paying that portion. I explained to her that I wasn't paying because the office didn't notified me that they were out of network at the time; they didn't give me an option if I wanted to proceed with service or not. The receptionist proceed to call the insurance company and she stated everything I had just explained to her. The receptionist argued and went back and forth with me about this bill. At some point; I ask are you refusing me service? she stated you have an outstanding bill and I have to contact the owner to see we can see you, SAY WHAT?..... I will be making a complaint about this office. Then she stated are you in pain? I said yes on of my teeth have some pain; she then stated you said were coming for an annual visit; I said okay I was going to let the hygienist know. She then told the hygienist take her as an emergency. The hygienist just started doing a quick look in my mouth; I ask what are you doing. When we see you as an emergency we do limit services; I got out the chair and went to the front desk and said I book an annual exam. The receptionist said she's getting an annual exam. Mine you; I have insurance and it's up to date! Even the hygienist she was defensive with me at first and was chiming in saying I had a year to pay and was comparing my situation to a Con Edison bill; saying CON ED will turn off service if you owe a bill. The technician remain neutral didn't say or comment on anything. I was so disgusted after I left the dentist office; it was such a negative experience. It messed up my morning and day. I arrived to the office before 9am; didn't get seen until after 10am and left the office almost 11am. mine you; it was me and 1 other person in the office. I support neighborhood and black own business but they need to do BETTER! There's too many competition out there for the establishment to be so unprofessional and the office have few customers.

I had a toothache. I called the office. They seen me immediately. The staff was helpful friendly And dr Keven did my examination instead of immediately drilling into my teeth he went a different route which I'm thankful for He even fit me in for a cleaning without waiting for months I would definitely recommend

Everyone is really nice and professional. I felt comfortable, and just had such pleasant experience. Just very relaxing and pleasant experience.

Love having my dental care done by this office. They make you feel like family. My family has been going there for years. From the phone call to when you arrive, you're always made to feel welcome by Joanne. The office and exam rooms are always clean and has beautiful plants in them. Once in the chair, the assistants are warm and pleasant. You can "see" their smiles behind the mask. Once Dr Jackson enters the room, he always ask how are you with a caring tone. The vibe is stellar as the office has easy listening music that plays great song choices. I'm going to recommend them in the FB group I'm in - Blaque Resource Network - BRN. Moreover, even if your teeth are in really bad condition, they don't make you feel bad about it. Thats a HUGE PLUS!

I would like to commend Dr. Jackson’s staff, they are extremely courteous and professional. I have been searching for a primary dentist for sometime. On several occasions and coincidence his name was continuously mentioned. After scheduling my first appointment I can say without hesitation that Dr. Jackson is a consummate practitioner and aware of all current preventative dentistry modalities. Make an appointment to receive outstanding dental care.
