Jonathan Cha, M.D.

I started seeing this doctor, when I was 18 years old. So he was my gynecologist before he became my OB. I trusted him dearly when I became pregnant with my first child. It took me a long time to gather my composure and share a review. As my GYN for 6 years he was great and I didn't trust anyone one else but him! The night I went to have my son all good things went to hell, and after a mistake during the C-section that put me on disability and left me in disbelief, he dismissed me and stopped listening. I'm great to be alive, but the amount of pain I have lived in was not fun. Even legally things were a mess, which I won't go into, but his dismissal caused very cold and malicious. I can understand each has a different specialty but not communicating with patient is awful! I now question every doctor, their motives, and especially their intent even more now! I'm alive because I felt like something was wrong, speak up for you, that's my best advice to all!

Dr cha has been my doctor since I was 18 now I’m 36 over the years I never had an issue with him. I’m now 3 months pregnant so I wanted him to be my doctor well that was a bad idea I cancelled my appointment for today because I had a work event that came up suddenly but was able to get an appointment for Tuesday that just past when I got to my appointment it turns out it was cancelled why didn’t anyone call me not just send an email when I was driving fine now I’m rescheduled for 2 weeks out I decided to take my reports & find another doctor which I’m grateful that I found her. I’m 13 weeks & one day I have to do a pelvic ultrasound no later than 13 weeks & 6 days. If I would have waited for the may 15 appointment I would not have been able to take the test. This is horrible of Dr. cha I trusted him blindly for so many years. Please do your research do not use this doctor. As a new mother you check everything not just whatever you feel. Never again I will trust my child or my body with him.

Dr. Cha somehow manages to make you feel comfortable and safe despite the circumstances. He always make sure I get the care I need, be it follow up/treatments from other doctors or medications..he doesn't miss anything. I had an amazing experience throughout my pregnancy and delivery and I'm honestly feeling sad that my visits have come to an end. Dr.Cha is a great doctor whom I'll always recommend.

I had Dr. Cha as my GYN a few years ago and I was having painful ovulation and heavy and painful menstrual cycles at that time. Dr. Cha decided to perform a biopsy in cold blood and it was very painful and traumatic. He told me to be quiet because I was crying from the pain, I was at level 10 pain and he was not gentle. After the procedure I was bleeding for days because he hurt me and was rough on purpose. A week later I went back for a follow-up and he wanted to put me on Depo Provera to stop my periods. Insurance didn't cover so I asked for other options. He was nasty and said if I expected him to pay, I was shocked at his response! Uncalled for, I asked for options, not charity! Very unprofessional! I dropped him and now I have a better GYN that's AMAZING. Dr. Cha should not be practicing medicine. He's the worst doctor I've ever had and he's so lucky I didn't sue him. This OBGYN has traumatized me for life! I don't understand how he is still working at Advantagecare Physicians. I'm not the only one that feels this way about this terrible so called Doctor!

This is one of the best Doctor I have ever dealt with. He is really concerned about your well being. He was recommended to me after seeing 5 Doctors who all wanted to give me a full historetamy with the removal of my very large fibroids. He was the only doctor willing to do the more complex surgery to save parts of my reproductive system. He did an excellent job with my surgery and the follow ups. My recovery was quick without any issues. Thank you Dr. Cha for giving back a productive life.
