Joel C Green, DDS

I regularly travel two and one half hours to reach the Bronx in order to see my dentist, Dr. Joel Green. To describe both the dentist and his staff I would use the adjectives, welcoming, comforting, proficient, professional and knowledgeable. One year my insurance provider continuously denied my dental reimbursement claim for several hundreds of dollars. By keeping accurate records, and having many conversations with several claim adjusters over several months, Maggie, the office manager, was able to persuade the insurance company to eventually grant the full amount of my claim. Lucy, the dental assistant, is able to calm my fears of dental procedures with her warm and friendly manner, and her comforting explanations of procedures. Dr. Green's manner is extremely pleasant. Moreover, his expertise in dentistry has kept my teeth in good condition despite the fact that I am seventy-two years of age. It is noteworthy to mention that Dr. Green teaches dentistry each Wednesday to future dentists at a Bronx hospital. For all of the above reasons my two and half hour trip to the Bronx is well worth the time!

I have been Dr. Green's patient for 25 or more years (and he looks so young!) and I can't imagine a more professional, astute, personable, compassionate dentist. He will always explain what he needs to do and discuss the options at hand. By now the office staff is like a circle of friends & family without the sacrifice of professionalism and care on their part. I would recommend Dr. Green to anyone who wants the best in dental care, keeping in mind that early humans did not live long, one of the significant reasons being the infections of gums and teeth when our ancient ancestors did not understand medicine as we do today. A good - no, a great! - dentist such as Dr. Green offers through his dental care a quality of life that becomes possible when this significant part of our physiology receives excellent, focused, consistent care. I have been going to Dr Green since I was 10. I probably say my name is Akiba. Dr Green to his ❌wonderful staff❌, I have watched through the years it be the standard for treatment and care.. Highly recommend. I moved away from the state for five years, but would come back just to Dr Green take care of Cavity prone teeth

13 years since October 1, 2013 when another dental provider saw a huge growth in my left mandible jaw. For over ten years since it was removed I no longer feel the left side of my jaw it’s partially number and the nerve damage is extensive. I face pain daily and can no longer eat solid foods just liquids or crushed into dust. I hope that you have been more vigilant and careful. The crate you sent for 2002 2004 2007 and 2022 are proof of the failure to diagnose. This review stands as rated and and is my opinion . Fran lewis just reviews My face pain thanks to his failure to diagnose is so bad I have to take tramadol daily for pain so I can work. I can’t even eat solid foods I have not slept at all a full night thanks to your next telling me I had a serious lesion in my jaw for over 13 years: I’m in pain 24 hours everyday. I hope that you are more careful and when a cray process shows a problem you tell the patient before it’s too late.

I have been going to this practice for more than 25 years. I even travel from NJ just to continue at this practice. I can truly say Dr. Green cares about his patients, and gives excellent treatment. His staff is always friendly and polite.
