Dr. Kouroupos is very knowledgeable and thorough with his patients. He takes his time explaining matters and does not rush through the examination. He's very kind compassionate and professional. Additionally his staff are friendly and exceptional as they always conduct follow up calls in a timely manner. Both my husband are patients and we find him to be an amazing physician.

I have been in Doctor Kouroupos care for over thirty years. I see there have been some reviews on unhappy patients which inspired me to share my experience. I thank Doctor Kouroupos for his excellent care which he has provided to me all these years.I always have great confidence him and his abilities. He has also provided excellent care to my family members as well.He is a very knowledgeable Doctor in his field and goes that extra step for his patients.Yes sometimes maybe he don’t smile but remember he works long hours at Mount Sinai Hospital, and spends time caring for his patients in his office which is a lot of hours so let’s understand why sometimes he might not have a smile on his face. But I can tell you no matter what type of day he is having he gives all to his patients. I thank Doctor Kouroupos for his excellent care, and I also like two express how professional, friendly and helpful his staff is.

I was introduced to Dr. Emanuel Kouroupos when I was officially admitted to the ER to prepare for an emergency endoscopy and eventually a cholecystectomy. He was my assigned doctor and this was my first experience I ever had going to the ER for an illness. I was so naive. I trusted this doctor and his medical advise. But after few months I found this doctor to be uninformative, and uncaring to his patients. I believe this man did not do his research well on me and as a result, I continue to suffer from a gastrointestinal disease since 2021. After a week in the hospital and 2 weeks of recovery from surgery, I continued to suffer from my symptoms. I had severe digestive issues and gastro issues, and when it continued for months I gave my genuine concerns to Dr. Kouroupos who continued to tell me I would be able to live a normal life.... I did not understand this because of all my symptoms. I felt sick and I did not feel healthy. I felt gaslighted and neglected again by another medical professional. After a few months with no change I cried to Dr. Kouroupos and expressed my inability to cope with my medical issues. He looked me dead in the eye with a cold expression and said " I don't understand why you are crying". Reality set in immediately. I dried my tears, thanked him, walked out, and never went back.
