If I could give her ZERO stars, I would. FACTS: 1st appointment 12/03/24. I waited over 4 hours for this doctor. I brought prior blood work and gave a detailed history. The doctor wrote nothing down. The 1st thing she recommended was gastric bypass surgery and I called her on her assessment since this is the first time with questionable weight gain, fatigue etc and I also fasted for blood work for which I was told needed to be done 8:30 am the next day which makes no sense since I sat there starving. 2nd appointment blood withdrawal (3+ hours wait time) 3rd appointment: Follow up 12/17/24 @ 10:30 am still 3+ hour wait time with medication that was sent to my pharmacy ALLEGEDLY. I ALSO ASKED HER IF SHE WOULD BE AROUND SINCE CHRISTMAS WAS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.....SHE SAID YES. *** Back and forth I physically went to this office because no one answers the phone...this is a hospital. I also emailed her about the prescription...I was ignored. I tried to give this doctor a 2.5 month window to get my prescription. *** Dr. Chinyere Agu is a joke. Every word out of her mouth is a bold face lie. ***

No doctor has the right to make you wait 3 or 4 hours after your appointment time, this is unreasonable.Dr. chinyere Agu had good ratings, but as I see some reviews at Jamaica hospital were poor I met her the first time at be well primary health care on Farragut Rd. Brooklyn. Unfortunately I had to find another doctor . There seems to be a problem with the medical treatment she provides as she has taken on many locations and too many patients. I could not reach the Dr and was told by the medical office she can only be reached on her office hours, but she doesn't accept phone calls even for medication issues. This Dr. Prescribed two medications for me that should not have been prescribed the medication toujeo and mounjaro are not used together, and the doctor never sent a new pre-authorization for my dexcom g7 monthly supplies. Be well primary health care uses a staff member for patients to call for refills but most times you must leave a voicemail and never answered and violating HIPAA privacy policies where patients and staff can hear patients private medical information. I am so incensed by this kind of medical treatment. Due to the be well staff never requested my insulin refills the vandeveer pharmacy used my opthalmology Drs NPI number without his permission to refill my novolog insulin medicine. A clear medical license violation. There is a serious medical ethics violation when a doctor chooses to ignore the needs of established patients and patients treatment plan. Patients pay for a doctors services no patients should have to call for refills or wait for an office staff to receive refills or wait for the doctor to be available so to bill for an office visit,when patients only have 3 to 6 month appointments to see their endocrinologist . This is poor medical delivery when a patient must have blood work performed every 3 months to determine hormone levels to determine insulin needed for patients. Continuously booking new patients by disregarding established patients is a dangerous practice by any physician regardless of specific practice. When you miss your appointment for blood work you cannot see the doctor until you make a new appointment which usually take another month or more due to appointments are booked month in advance without any availability for patients who need follow up. What a joke, this doctor told a patient to get bypass surgery, bariatric surgery must be done by checking with a cardiologist who determines whether it is safe for the patient: after consultations with endocrinologist and cardiologist determine the best course of treatment. No patient should wait 3 or 4 hours to see a endocrinologist, report this activity to your insurance provider Drs are under contract with insurance to see patients within an hour of appointments. This overbooking is the result of insuring maximum medical billing for the office and physician as the doctors go to multiple locations and overbook appointments at every location for maximum compensation. Dr. Agu made hermedical treatment for me worse by never giving my insurance her preauthorization for my dexcom7 supplies, the third party supplier has charged me over 800.00 dollars because she never sent the authorization for insurance payments. Now the provider will not send any supplies for dexcom7 cgm . I had to ask my primary care office to write a prescription for a manual glucose monitor due to dr. AGU NEGLIGENCE PROVIDING THE NECESSARY MEDICAL DOCUMENTATION. THIS DOCTOR NEVER CORRECTS OR RESPONDS TO HER MEDICAL ERRORS REGARDING PATIENTS.
