Beata “Szepe”
I would give her 0 stars if I could. If you’re reading it, stay away from this doctor. Because of her my family broke apart. My mom was diagnosed with mental illness years prior to her visit at dr. Marek office. She was under medications for years due to her disorder, diagnosed with schizophrenia, but after her visit at Manhattan Medical where dr. Marek was taking patients at the time, everything has changed. Dr. Marek told her that she didn’t need no medications and she should stop taking it, after that, our mom slowly turned into paranoid monster, with belief that the whole world turned against her, that there’s people out there plotting against her, hiding her stuff, stealing from her, etc. Slowly turning herself into aggressive maniac, that would torn apart her whole family, because of her accusations and conspiracy theories that people had enough of. To the point that everybody had turned their back on us, cause nobody could stand her, and the person that took the biggest hit from it was our dad, who stayed by her side no matter what because he love her, but instead of love in return he got arrested, because she told the police that he was assaulting her, where in fact she was assaulting him. So thank you, Ms. Marek, for making a person with schizophrenia believe that she’s ok, and stopping her from taking medications. Wish we could switch places, so you could see how it is to live with mentally ill person and knowing that there’s nothing we can do to make her take her medications again, so she could become a person she really is and was while taking medication. And so you should know, it’s all because of you. I would never recommend you as a doctor. Even I know that schizophrenia is incurable and I’m no doctor.
