Google review (Yuki): If you’re experiencing hip joint pain and not sure where to go, I truly recommend Dr. Arsoy.
I visited NYU Langone due to pain in my right hip. The entire appointment went incredibly smoothly—from check-in to the X-ray, everything moved along without any waiting time. Even though there were many patients, the flow was perfectly managed to avoid delays. All the staff were kind, and it was the most stress-free experience I’ve ever had at a medical facility.
Dr. Arsoy was warm and easy to talk to. He listened carefully to what I was going through, and then took the time to explain in detail what was causing the pain, what I could do to get better, and the treatment options available—while showing me the X-ray.
We initially talked about starting physical therapy, but when I mentioned how much pain I was in, he kindly suggested a steroid injection in the hip joint using ultrasound guidance. He even went himself to speak with the specialist, and I was able to receive the injection right after the consultation.
I arrived at the clinic at 8:00 AM, saw the doctor at 8:20, had the injection at 8:40, and was out the door by 9:00.
Afterwards, he also contacted a physical therapist who would be a good match for my symptoms, and I received a call from the therapist later that same afternoon. At other clinics, they usually just give you a referral and you have to make the call yourself, but I could really tell that this doctor genuinely cares about his patients and takes responsibility for making sure they’re well looked after.

Google review (Alla): I was extremely fortunate to meet such a doctor as Dr. Arsoy. I've been through a lot recently (pain in the hip was intolerable). I already got used to seeing doctors who really don't care about you and who just act as if they know how to help you but it turns out that you are just wasting your time with them. So I had no particular expectations. Well, Dr. Arsoy has surprised me: very pleasant attitude, knows how to make a patient comfortable and what is more important: it turns out he is very knowledgeable and experienced. After a few minutes reviewing the MRI of my hip he said it is not hip at all but rather my lower back (nerve impingement). He was right a 100%. In a word, my visit was short, pleasant and gave a positive result. I have no more pain. One of the best doctors I've met recently!

Google review (Carolina): Dr. Arsoy is as awesome as all of the reviews state! Such a kind, compassionate, and wonderful physician. I came in with hip pain and was not sure if I needed surgery based on my bilateral MRIs. Dr. Arsoy put me at ease immediately, did a thorough examination and explained to my condition and recommended treatment plan to me. Even though he is a surgeon, he does not jump to cutting you open. Speaking of, a lady in the waiting room overheard my exchange with the front desk, and asked if I was seeing Dr. Arsoy and if so, I was in the best hands because her mother had hip surgery with him and was pain free from the day of her operation.

Google review (M huze): When I met Dr. Arsoy he made me feel extremely comfortable m, and eased a lot of the fear I had going into what I knew would be a major operation. Dr. Arsoy was very upfront with me on what the procedure would entail, healing timelines, expectations, and answered any question I had. I have never felt as comfortable and at ease with a Dr before. I was walking with a cane for years, and needed a complete hip reconstruction. Dr. Arsoy did an amazing procedure, and I was back on my feet within a few months. I am now training for a marathon!! Something I would never thought possible until I met Dr. Arsoy. After my surgery, he came right to my room to ask how I was holding up, and they days after he would continue to do the same. He is unlike any other Dr. I have encountered and truly cares about his patients m, and in my case has done amazing work in reconstructing my hip. Thank You Doc!!!
