Dr. Abramson at MSKCC has been caring for our son for over three years, and we could not be more grateful. He is an exceptional physician who is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely compassionate. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes us feel confident and supported at every visit. The office staff is equally wonderful. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Abramson and his team at MSK! He is truly one of the best doctors I've ever met. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. From the minute we scheduled our appointment through the minute we left, his team took such great care of us. They checked in multiple times, were prompt with answering any and all questions, really took their time to make sure we understood what was going on, and followed up multiple times to make sure our son was okay after his appointment. When a serious diagnosis is a possibility for your child, it's a very scary and uncharted territory as a parent. We felt that Dr. Abramson made a scary situation as positive as possible and we are so thankful to have been able to work with him. The thorough care provided truly made us feel like we their only patients and not just another case to see. If you are looking for a specialty pediatric ophthalmologist, look no further. I have never met a medical team as great as they are. Everybody in the office has gone above and beyond to make my family and my son as comfortable as possible. Dr. A and his team have saved my son's life as well as his vision. There isn't anywhere else I would have rather had my son be treated.
