Cindy Chi-Ling Cheung, MD

I would never recommend this Dr to anyone. She is one of the worst Obs I’ve ever gone to. Rude, judgmental, she was ready to walk out the door without even asking me if I had any questions to ask her. Lady, my insurance is paying you for a reason, not just so you can do what you want and call it a day. Must be so nice to spend 3 mins with a patient and get paid how much ever she gets paid which I bet is a lot. She makes me sick to my stomach with the care she provided me. She should be a principal and not a Dr, since she wants to order patients around and make them feel bad when they don’t listen to her.

Google review (Karen Lau (ixkaren)): I will not be returning to this doctor under NYP. The experience I had honestly made me decide not to use NYP at all because of the headaches I’ve had from my visits. Dr Cindy Cheung herself seems nice, but 1) I was initially charged around $700 for my annual OBGYN wellness exam, which is supposed to be covered, so even my insurance company was confused as to why that happened. Basically I called the doctors office - they weren’t helpful and can never answer my questions. They told me to call the billing office which couldn’t give me a straight answer either but they decided to waive it. 2) I went to the office for a follow up to go over my results from the annual check up, and it was a five minute talk at her desk, which they charged for. I found this so ridiculous. 3) I was referred by the doctor to do ultrasounds - from my past experience, the doctor would make sure my insurance covered the procedure before referring me to do it. My friends have also said the same. Unfortunately this was not done and I ended up paying for that too. I learned my lesson and will not be coming back.

Nurses and PA’s are very sweet and patient. They provide so much information and appointments go by really quick.

Dr. Cindy is amazing and I love her so much. Everybody her is super friendly and helpful.

I called to make an appointment 9/15/2020 and was turned down !!!!! Horrible service.
