The doctor was nice and professional. The reason for my 3-star review, however, is because of the office/front desk staff. I arrived early for my appointment and expected to wait until my appointment time. I sat for about 30 minutes and during this time, the front desk staff was, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. The women essentially treated the front desk like it was a bar (without the drinks). First of all, they were speaking in rapid Spanish and EXTREMELY loud. Though I don't speak Spanish, I could tell what the conversations were about because they would intersperse English words and show each other photos of their boyfriends, of packages left by Amazon on their front steps...I really felt like I was out at girls' night at a bar. They were speaking SO loudly, SO fast, IN Spanish, and about personal things. At one point, I made eyes with a stranger and we rolled our eyes at each other. It was obvious that I wasn't the only one who felt this way. The waiting room is for the patients. It should be a place where patients like me, who are extremely anxious about their appointments, can sit in peace and try to figure out their health and medical issues, and anticipate their appointments with calm. The women treated the waiting room like it was a nail salon and like there was no one else there. It was perhaps one of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen. I wish I'd taken a video to show management. I imagine they'd have been horrified. My last issue with the front desk staff was that they didn't give anyone updates about appointments. 5-10 minutes after my appointment time, when it was clear that no one was going to update me, I approached them to ask when I'd be called back. A woman informed me that the doctor hadn't even arrived into the office yet. No one thought to tell any of us that? There were 3 of us in the waiting room who had appointments with him and the women were so focused on their own bar/nail salon catch up, they couldn't even do their jobs. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes for the appointment, which isn't such a huge deal; but the issue here really is that the front desk staff didn't do their jobs in any way. They should have been updating patients on their wait times, keeping the waiting room calm, and just overall being focused on their job of helping patients, not dealing with their own personal issues. I was flabbergasted when the woman said the doctor hadn't even arrived at the office yet from surgery, and I asked "were you going to tell any of us that?" and she said "we've been busy." Oh right, you've been busy hanging out and catching up? These women need a ton of training. It's honestly humiliating for Columbia that this is how one of their offices runs.

Doctor was very professional however did not provide any pain nor itch medication to alleviate my symptoms. I was also not provided with any medication to alleviate my initial problem that I came in for. I felt I was left to deal with my issue on my own until surgery
