Run far away. Danielle is their only redemption. The office is horrible. Unresponsive, rude, disrespectful. Impossible to connect with anyone half the time. I've been hung up on, lied to, etc. Been on the same meds for years and now I'm being told to try to wean off. That's not how mental illness works. It doesn't go away. Just totally ridiculous, horrible experience all around.

As a fellow mental health professional, I contacted Dr. Desir about a patient of his who presented to me as imminently suicidal. I am the Social Worker at this patient’s primary care doctor’s office – I have had no previous history with this patient and contacted his psychiatrist, Dr. Desir, for support and guidance. The secretary was very professional and seemed to understand the urgency of the situation. She told me that Dr. Desir would reach out to me and/or the patient ASAP, as it was an emergency. Dr. Desir however NEVER followed up. I also found out that the family contacted him 2 weeks prior informing him that the patient was increasingly depressed and suicidal and he did nothing. I am completely appalled. Steer clear of this doctor.

Dr Desir’s office is likely to be the worst run medical office you will ever come across - you are almost guaranteed to wait 2-3 hours for your appointment and with rare exception the staff could not care less or be more incompetent. I have had multiple prescriptions called in incomplete or wrong - do yourself a favor and find any other doctor.
