I was sent to Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan from St.Peters Hospital in Albany NY because of a very bad heart, where Dr Ani installed an LVAD in 2015 to keep me going until a donor heart could be obtained. I was contacted seven months later that a heart had become available, and I was back at Mount Sinai hour's later, having the LVAD and bad heart removed, and the donor heart was skillfully installed, AND AT THAT POINT, MY NEW LIFE BEGAN!!! I'm now coming up on my two year anniversary of my Transplant, and thanks to Dr Ani, and all of the skillful , talented, and caring staff at this wonderful hospital, I'm now doing great and thankful for every day of life. I will be forever grateful to the organ donor, the donors family ( who have my deepest sympathy and condolences for the loss of their loved one ) Dr Ani, and to everyone at Mount Sinai Hospital for their excellent care and professionalism that they showed me during my recovery, and continue to show me at my follow-up appointments. I called Dr. Any's office for a consult and to explain my situation and they were caring and amazing at listening to my concerns. They felt the need to place Dr. Any on the phone. He is very caring and made the necessary calls for me to be seen asap. I would rate him as A+++ only because he took the time to listen. I was feeling defeated and unheard. If I ever need a transplant surgeon, he would be the choice for me. Since calling his office, I found top notch doctors and staff that have helped me get testing and answers I need to move forward with my heart disease!

Dr. "Ani" is the most capable surgeon nice person with a great bedside manor . His nurse practitioners also a great group of health care professionals. Highly recommend his practice.

It's already a little more than one year, that I had open heart surgery!!!! Dr. Ani U changed my life! !!!!! I cannot find the words how thankful I am for everything !!!!!! U changed my life . I am very often thinking about you and and how everybody in the hospital were so nice to me.I wish U the best and be healthy for everybody who needs U!!!!! Thank U again Elisabed

Terrible experience, failed surgery, did not have any improvement after big promises. And he refused to follow up or answer questions or explain what happened.
