I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Amy Birnbaum. She’s highly skilled, competent, knowledgeable and professional. She really cares about her patients. She’s conservative in that she didn’t rush me into surgery, but when the time was right I was confident that I’d made the right decision. I trust her implicitly for the treatment of my hand. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs orthopedic care.

After struggling with an incredibly painful frozen shoulder for months, I finally found relief. She was thorough in her approach, recommending physical therapy followed by a steroid injection. The results were nearly instantaneous—by the time I arrived home, the pain had vanished. For the first time in months, I was able to sleep through the entire night without waking up. She is truly an exceptional provider!

Dr. Birnbaum is truly the best doctor I’ve seen. I came in with severe nerve damage, unsure if I’d ever be able to use my left hand in any usual capacity. Through her skillful diagnosis and surgery, I am thankful to report that after 6 months post-op, I have full dexterity and strength. Dr. Birnbaum is knowledgeable, confident, and most importantly, kind. She was a pleasure to work with and I always felt safe under her care. I cannot recommend her enough. Thanks Dr. Birnbaum!

I was fortunate to have my OT (Occupational Therapist) recommend Dr. Birnbaum to me, for an arm injury I was trying to heal. I cannot sing Dr. Birnbaum's praises enough. She is extremely bright and sensible. She spent ample time with me so I never felt rushed and rather than jump into surgery, she opted for a more conservative approach. In the end, that served me well! I wanted to also add that her front office staff was a pleasure to deal with and was very efficient and welcoming. Dr. Birnbaum's bedside manner, medical judgement and expertise, along with her sensibilities, are second to none. I felt completely confident in her care and would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends.
