I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Chu. She is a pioneer in the industry and I feel lucky to have gotten my surgery done with her. After years of being dismissed by multiple doctors I can’t explain how grateful I was to have met Dr. Chu and finally had someone acknowledge my symptoms and further provide me with a solution. Through detailed consultations, Dr. Chu was able to identify the symptoms I’ve been struggling with for most of my adult life as [potiental] Endometriosis. I felt both prepared and confident going into my laparoscopic surgery where she found Endometriosis, inflammation and multiple cysts. I’m now 3 months post op and recovery has been much easier than I anticipated; I feel stronger and more energized. Dr. Chu truly cares about her patients and is paving the way for the future of Women’s Health. I am so grateful to be under her care.

Dr. Chu was one of the first doctors I felt like I could really trust. Throughout every step, she was patient and met me with a level of empathy and care I had not experienced with any other doctor. In first meeting her, she was thorough in her questions and listened with zero judgment. She focuses on you as an entire person and takes everything into account. For my surgery, she described it to me at an approachable level and asked me to repeat the process in my own words to make sure I understood what was going to happen. She walked me through what it would feel like after I woke up and all of the steps during the surgery. After having experiences with other doctors where I was unable to describe what was done to me, this felt empowering and eased a lot of my anxiety surrounding the surgery. She is intelligent, poised, and exactly the kind of person I wanted to be advocating for me and handling my care. I am six weeks post op and I am amazed about how quick my recovery was. She truly is the best and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I can’t recommend Dr. Chu enough! I was diagnosed with severe endo at just 23 and after a long thoughtful process, I finally went to work with Dr. Chu. It was the best decision. From the moment I stepped into her office, she provided so much comfort and care. She has the best bedside manner which I believe is so important in the line of work she does. After all the doctors I worked with for my condition, she was easily my favorite! I wish she could be my primary OBGYN just so I could continue seeing her every year haha!
