Dr Egelman has been professional but not abstruse when explaining complex findings. He works with me to find real world approaches and goals for elderly patients such as myself. A touch of humor doesn't hurt. I'll keep coming back.

A solid clinician who is well detailed in his communication. Functionally useless when it comes to dealing with insurance. Which is unfortunate because that's what is needed in today's world. Avoid.

I just had an appointment with Dr. Egelman. He was polite and explained my EKG. The staff was nice and polite too! The only reason I didn't give him five stars was the wait after the EKG ( even though I appreciate the time he spends with patients, I had another appointment to go to.)

Long wait (he was quite backed up). Once I was in his office he spent a fair amount of time with me explaining his diagnosis. This is the third cardiologist I've been to during my lifetime, and Dr. Egelman was the very first to suggest that my symptoms might be due to anxiety-induced esophageal distress similar to what's experienced in the lower GI system as IBS or spastic colon. (He said the digestive tract is really a single organ, all the way down.)

Just disgusting. Didn’t even let me get my first sentence out before interrupting me. Didn’t even get up from his seat before determining that he wouldn’t be doing the echocardiogram I was there for. Flat out refused the test and when I insisted he said “ugh fine”. No thank you, I’ll see another cardiologist. I am a woman of color and hopefully this helps anyone else looking to see this doctor.
