When my wife told me one day that she wanted to give birth to our child at home I had to swallow my thoughts. But I was open to researching and learning what this is all about, after all it is my wife who would go through with the journey and it was ultimately her decision I would need to support her in every way possible. We searched and searched and came across Yuen. We set up the consultation and we felt so comfortable and fell in love with the idea of having a home birth. Fast forward 5-years and 3x children, all born at home... we like to say our family is complete. Having a professional who can answer any question me or my wife may have is important. Having someone who has a vast experience to make you feed comfortable when making this journey is pinnacle. Knowing you have a team who can handle home-birthing with tact and poise is imperative. TLC is all of this, but the single greatest thing you will get when going with TLC is a personal, intimate relationship with your midwife. She is like a family member. You won't get this type of care when birthing in a hospital. This is the essence of home birthing. This review should carry some weight because my wife has had 1 baby in a hospital the traditional way, 1 baby with another midwife, and 2x babies with TLC. We can properly say that the BEST way to give birth is in the comfort of your own home, on your own terms, with as many or as few family members as you wish... with TLC by your side. Don't make the mistake of going any other way. My wife and I cannot recommend TLC enough.
