I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way patients’ time is treated at this office. I do not understand the purpose of scheduling appointments if patients are not seen until one or even two hours after their scheduled time. What is even more upsetting is that patients are brought into the examination area only to continue waiting unnecessarily. During this time, I observed staff members chatting about their personal lives while patients remained waiting. It also appeared that routine tasks were being performed at a pace that showed little regard for the significant delays being experienced by patients. This level of inefficiency and lack of respect for patients’ time is completely unacceptable. Many of us have work, family responsibilities, and other commitments that we arrange around these appointments. Keeping patients waiting for such excessive periods without proper communication demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and consideration. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues and takes immediate steps to improve patient care, scheduling practices, and respect for patients’ time. My experience was extremely frustrating, and I left feeling disrespected and undervalued as a patient.
