I first became a patient of Dr. Chen’s 3 years ago and was immediately impressed by her care and support. Then I got pregnant and had the opportunity to meet all the other doctors in the practice through the course of my pregnancy. At every appointment, I got to know the doctors and felt very safe & comfortable asking all the “hard” questions. I wanted to have a birth that was as natural as possible with minimal to no interventions. Never did I feel dismissed or coerced into doing something, but rather, I felt very supported and respected. (The only doctor that I didn’t jive with that gave me text book answers have since left the practice so I was relieved that she wouldn’t be one of the doctors on call.) Despite some complications that occurred at the time of birth, I’m very happy and grateful to have had the doctors in my corner particularly Dr. Kim and Dr. Bermudez. Dr. Kim is the one that delivered my baby in the end and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was extremely professional and took really good care of me. All the doctors are very thoughtful, willing to have a discussion with you about your fears & concerns, and ultimately want what’s best for you and your baby. Lastly, Jocelyn is a wonderful nurse and Danielle at the front desk was also really helpful in navigating some insurance drama we had with the hospital now being out of network. Overall, I’d recommend this practice to anyone who is in the process of TTC or expecting.
