This is the review for newly instituted system of requiring women to have a chaperone while getting procedures for women(note: women only, men are not required to have chaperones). Since they are now under Cornell, women are required to have a chaperone in the room where anything gynecology related is done, be it sonogram or other. If you refuse they refuse to perform the procedure. Woman who pushed this policy on me was not the provider but some kind of nurse or front desk clerk. She also spoke over me, interrupting me and not allowing me to speak my mind. Thus I was treated terribly by her. Even manager made an appearance even though I have not asked for him to come. From now on I will be looking for this procedure to be done elsewhere where chaperone system doesn't exist. I do not recommend women go there for anything gynecology or sonogram related because of this. Grown women do not need babysitters. We will do just fine without them!
