I recently had a pair of lenses made for an existing frame in NYC but when I picked them up, they weren’t very comfortable. After a couple of days I couldn’t wear them because they were digging into the bridge of my nose and my right ear. I went to MyEyeDr In Yonkers on Central Avenue and they adjusted the frame and that they are much more comfortable to wear. The gentleman behind the counter was pleasant, and he was able to adjust them fairly quickly.

The staff was nice, but the frames available under Medicaid are horrible. I couldn’t find any frames that fit my face. After I chose the best one I could find I waited three weeks to receive them after being told they would be ready within the first week. When I picked them up they did not fit me at all but the prescription was correct I guess. Do not recommend if you are covered under Medicaid or want fast service.
