I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this one is truly deserved. I walked into Montefiore Urgent Care not feeling like myself at all. Something just wasn't right. Dr. Greenberg really took his time with me. He listened, asked thoughtful questions, and didn't brush off what I was feeling. His calm and caring approach made me feel heard. He ultimately referred me to the ER for further evaluation, and I'm so grateful he did. If it wasn't for him recognizing that I needed more care, I probably would have gone home and ignored the signs, and things could have turned out much worse. The entire team was incredible. Jocelyn and Dennise at registration were warm and welcoming from the start. Nurse Andrea and Nurse Shelley-Ann were attentive, compassionate, and reassuring during a moment when I honestly felt vulnerable. Nurse Practitioner Yanil Rodriguez went out of her way to help me sort out my medication with the pharmacy, which greatly reduced my stress, and Director Aronda made sure I was connected with a primary care provider, so I wouldn't fall through the cracks after discharge. From beginning to end, I truly felt like I was in good hands. So often, people come online only when they're upset, but I wanted to make sure I shine a light on how amazing this team is. Thank you all for treating me like a person and not just a patient. I appreciate you more than you know.
