Showed up for my appointment a little late, (5 mins) I called ahead to let them know that I was going to be a bit late due to train delays and they were understanding. It took 35 mins of waiting in the lobby before I got taken back to have my vitals done. I then sat in the examination room for an hour, where no one came in to tell me how long I’d be waiting. After waiting for an hour I stuck my head out of the examination room and let one of the nurses know I had been sitting in there for an hour. About 2 minutes later the doctor finally came in. My appointment lasted for two hours, i was spoken to and taken care of for probably a total of 30 mins. This was a follow up appointment that I was called and asked to book, none of the professionals I spoke to knew what the follow up was for. They had to go back, print and look at my charts to see what they needed to go over from the last appointment and only did so when I asked what the appointment was for. The nurses/ doctors and receptionists were very apologetic but the waiting time here is crazy. This was my 2nd appointment and the same thing happened at the first appointment. The only reason I was seen within an hour during my first appointment was because they were closing so they rushed to get me seen, after I had waited in the lobby for 30 minutes. Definitely not the doctors office to go to if you’re looking for efficiency and time management.
