This place is highly disorganized. Workers are constantly fighting among themselves, and people quit all the time, which leaves remaining staff stuck with mandatory overtime far too often. The pay is not worth it—DPS only makes around $19 an hour. Management does not care about their workers and was even willing to fire someone who was attacked. The nursing situation is even worse. There is basically no nursing oversight. Medications are constantly late or never ordered, and medical information is not updated. Nursing management blames staff for tasks that were not completed, even when employees were just hired and never properly trained. You will frequently be blamed for problems that were caused by other employees or that existed long before you were hired. The workplace is disorganized, systems are poorly documented or not documented at all, and when issues arise, management focuses on assigning blame rather than fixing the underlying problems. Nurses, in particular, should be extremely cautious. Management—including nurseing mangement anetta—has a pattern of blaming nurses for tasks and failures that occurred before they were employed. She often chooses to work on her days off without being asked, then later holds staff responsible for issues connected to work she voluntarily did. Emails may be sent within minutes criticizing staff for not responding quickly enough, even when the email was not directed to them. If she responds to an email that was not meant for her and you do not immediately reply, it can still be used against you. Nurses are routinely thrown under the bus, placing their professional licenses at serious risk. Training is minimal to nonexistent. Many systems and procedures are outdated and have not been reviewed or updated in years. Residents miss medical appointments, medications go unmanaged for extended periods, and records are incomplete or improperly maintained. When these serious failures are eventually discovered, staff—not management—are blamed. LPN pay is approximately $35 per hour, which does not come close to compensating for the troubles
