Saved my one year old nephew’s life who went into liver failure. He made a full recovery! They even went above and beyond for his birthday by decorating his room and gifted him a Miss Rachel doll. They took extraordinary care of him and didn’t write anything off. They made sure he was fully healthy to come back home and even followed up. Truly blessed and grateful for these amazing doctors, nurses, and staff for saving his life.

I recently delivered my first baby at this hospital and, unfortunately, my overall experience was quite disappointing. While there were a few standout staff members, there are several areas that need significant improvement—particularly for postpartum and C-section recovery patients. There was a noticeable lack of nursing support in guiding and encouraging recovery activities, such as walking, which are important for healing after surgery. In general the postpartum nursing care was inconsistent. Our two night nurses were truly wonderful— incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive during the night shifts. However, the majority during the day shift were impatient, dismissive, and at times condescending when speaking to us as first-time parents. This created a stressful and uncomfortable environment during what should have been a positive and nurturing time. We also found ourselves constantly having to ask for basic recovery and newborn supplies, as the nursing staff did not proactively check or restock items. Additionally, as we were discharged the nurse was unable to secure a wheelchair which resulted in having to walk a far distance to the lobby. The hospital admin also did not process our son’s birth certificate properly as his name was incorrect on his birth certificate once received. All that said, I do want to acknowledge the labor & delivery nursing staff, who were consistently kind, helpful, respectful, & knowledgeable. They made the laboring portion of our experience wonderful. While I have great respect for my OB-GYN and appreciate her excellent care, I would not choose to return to this hospital for future deliveries nor recommend it to others at this time. With more focus on patient-centered postpartum care, this hospital has the potential to provide a much better experience for new mothers and their families.
