A Lifelong Blessing — Dr. Cathy Ward Is Simply Extraordinary Dr. Cathy Ward has been my niece’s and nephew’s pediatrician since birth. She saw my nephew right after he was born at Roosevelt Hospital, and now—15 and 13 years later—she continues to be a guiding light in their lives. Her care has been consistent, compassionate, and deeply personal. Through every stage of their development, and even through moments of profound family loss—like the passing of their grandmother—Dr. Ward has been there. I’ll never forget sitting in her office, all of us in tears, and hearing the most comforting, heartfelt words a human being could offer. She didn’t just care for the children—she cared for all of us. Her bedside manner is exceptional. She listens attentively, never rushes, and treats the whole child—physically, emotionally, and developmentally. My niece and nephew trust her completely. In fact, every time we leave her office, they say they want to become doctors just like her. That’s the kind of impact she has—not just healing, but inspiring. Dr. Ward’s credentials are impressive, with over 30 years of experience and numerous awards, including the “Patient’s Choice Award” and “Compassionate Doctor Award” for eleven consecutive years. She’s been featured on NBC, Fox News, and in Parents magazine—but what truly sets her apart is her heart. Her staff is just as wonderful—responsive, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. Every visit feels like a warm, safe space. We feel truly blessed to have Dr. Ward in our lives. She’s not just a pediatrician—she’s a healer, a mentor, and a cherished part of our family’s journey
