Chose this location because of its convenience of travel(a 5min walk down hill from home) not the best idea, make sure you choose your therapy location based on practice, experience/expertise of the staff, and equipment. I recently under went a arthroscopic labrum "rotator cuff" surgery to my shoulder. It has been 3 months now and I've been religiously attending physical therapy, this happened as soon as i got the ok from my sport medicine doc to do so. But, just as the location it has been going down hill since the first week. Reasons why after 3 weeks of visits I've become disappointed are as follow. Although the staff is friendly and the location is for the most part clean, its missing something. The exercises have progressively gotten easier for me since my shoulder has regain some of its strength (I thank the exercise and therapist for that) but after three weeks it's become redundant, there is clearly no exercise planning or routine in place for patients to follow. It's just do what the therapist feels its right. The facility needs new Equipment and little bit more privacy once in the therapy "room" , 9 rooms divided with sliding curtains. Once you get to the building you are greeted by receptionist in the front, sign paperwork for your insurance then are ushered to the upstairs where the equipment and therapist are. I got a therapist assigned, which I thought I would retain for the entire sessions of visits. This place gets crowded so make sure you arrive early or with ample time to wait around. The lack of therapist is the reason behind the delay which could be up to an hour, if the therapist that was assigned to you is occupied then a new one fills in, which can be discouraging since a rapport was built with the first on . 20mins of electric muscle stimulation(don't even know if that works or if they ever replace or clean the padding after use) 10-15min of poorly executed massage (a little harsh, no filter but gotta tell the truth) following 5-10mins of stretching which is sometimes skipped if reminder is not given, (at least in my case )followed by 30 of random exercises. I honestly don't mean to be ungrateful, I thank them for showing me exercise I can do at home and stretches that have helped regain some of my range of motion but I think the therapist need a bit more training.
