My dad has been coming to deliver Sunday sermons for a year, and I came with him to watch it for the first time today. After he gave his sermon today, an activities manager named Robin asked to have a conversation. She claimed that she had gotten complaints from residents that they were being “singled out”. I can’t attest to whether that’s true, but I witnessed her outright lie today and say that she was there and saw it with her own eyes. What’s worth noting is that she gave no example or explanation. No specifics. What I watched was a standard, bland sermon where he tried to show the residents Christian love. Now the residents are deprived of the opportunity to have Sunday services. I’m not a Christian, but I know what I saw, and prospective residents should be aware that there is a dishonest person working there. If she will lie about that, what else is she going to lie about? That woman needs a reprimand for power tripping and taking away the opportunity for residents who can’t leave due to their age the opportunity to worship and practice their faith.
