I can’t thank Dr James Reilly enough for the care he provided for my daughter in law on the birth of her first child. As a neonatologist I can’t think of anyone else on Staten Island who I trust with this precious event. They traveled all the way from queens New York to have Dr Reilly care for their unborn child. I have know Dr Reilly for over 30 years I have worked with him as a colleague and have seen first hand the excellent care he provides for his patients. My daughter and son had an excellent experience at Staten Island hospital and Dr Reilly is a true professional Dr Anthony Barone D.O. Director of Neonatology

Stay away from this hospital at all cost. Extremely understaffed, Dr's don't do rounds they do everything on an app prescribe meds all on a computer without checking on patients. This hospital is filthy beyond safe. Was in a room for a week no one mopped floors no one dumps garbage cans ,they're overflowing. Prescribed meds shiw up 30-50 min past due time and if you're in distress and press assistance button no one shows up for 30 min or more. I am beyond disgusted with the level of care offered here. Asked for a pulmonary specialist and cardiologist and was informed since it was a holiday none were available. How do you run a hospital like this ? Food tray was delivered for dinner and 11pm still not picked up and no one took breakfast order so you get whatever they decide to give you. I can provide multiple pictures documenting the state of filth in this hospital. When I questioned the evening shift RN about seeing a Dr her response was no comment, like who responds like this to a patient. Please do not bring yourself or loved ones here if you care about their treatment and safety.
