I went to get my standard gyno appointment at this office and I have had an impossibly hellish time with the billing department. My birthday on my ID was incorrect at the time of my appointment which I flagged to the office when I submitted my insurance and they had me fill out a form. They must have eaten the form at lunch or something because I was charged for the entirety of the appointment. I called the billing number which never answered nor called back like the promise to. It wasn't until I got my insurance involved that they finally called back and began to work to fix my incorrect birthday in the system. They told me that it had been fixed and my bill went to 0. Great. Except then a few weeks later the bill came back and I got a bill for the lab work. I called the lab and they told me my birthday was still listed incorrectly. Called my insurance who told me that NYU has not even submitted a claim. I have spent all day trying to get ahold of someone at NYU with absolutely 0 success. Would not recommend this clinic to even my worst enemy. Which is unfortunate because my provider was very kind and knowledgeable but the experience with the billing department has been actual hell. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

I’m writing to share my sincere appreciation for the outstanding care and service I recently received at NYU Langone Health. From the moment I arrived until the time I left, the experience was marked by compassion, professionalism, and genuine human connection qualities that make all the difference in healthcare. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by Andre, who was stationed downstairs. Even though the elevator was out of service, he handled the situation with such calmness and care that it completely shifted the energy of the moment. He took the time to explain everything, helped check people in, and made each patient feel seen, valued, and comfortable. In a city as fast-paced as New York, that kind of warmth is rare and deeply appreciated. At the front desk, Rose was equally wonderful. When another staff member was busy, she immediately welcomed me over with a smile and efficiently handled my checkout. She even took the extra step to remind me that my next appointment would be at a different location that attention to detail shows her commitment and care. And then there’s Dr. Sophie M. Balzora my new physician. Her professionalism, kindness, willingness to listen left me feeling both cared for and informed. I left NYU Langone feeling grateful, confident, and ready for my next appointment. In fact, I’d say I feel like I’m in good hands better than Allstate! Thank you to Dr. Balzora, Rose, Andre, and the entire NYU Langone team for creating an atmosphere where excellence meets empathy. I've had some unfortunate unprofessional past experiences. You're what healthcare should feel like.
