I attended Swedish Institute for the Surgical Technologist program and graduated earlier this year. The teachers for this curriculum were great. I have to especially mention Mrs. Hicks who was also my Clinical Instructor during my rotation. She’s absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and talented. She really had our back during clinicals and made sure we were treated with respect. While I feel the teachers for this particular curriculum were all great, I think the administrative staff could have done a better job.

I thoroughly enjoyed the in-person continuing education course at the Swedish Institute this past weekend. As a former Swedish Institute faculty member and someone who currently assists in teaching the Medical Massage CE Certification program, I deeply appreciate well-run, thoughtfully taught CE courses and the Swedish Institute consistently delivers. This weekend’s Fundamentals of Ortho-Bionomy: The Extremities course was a true pleasure. The subject matter was engaging and immediately applicable, and Rosa, our instructor, was outstanding. She is deeply knowledgeable, warm-hearted, and passionate about the work, and she held space beautifully for learning, questions, and exploration. Studying with her was genuinely enjoyable, and I absolutely plan to continue with more Ortho-Bionomy courses as they are offered. Over the years, I’ve taken many in-person CE courses at Swedish, and the quality has been consistently excellent with diverse offerings, skilled instructors, and a learning environment that truly supports hands-on, in-person learning. And finally, a big thank you to Tania and her team for making these courses so seamless and accessible. They do a wonderful job facilitating continuing education with excellent faculty, making CE feel less like a requirement and more like a gift. Highly recommend to any practitioner who values learning, connection, and excellent teaching.
