The amount of money I had to pay to fix the mistake that happened here was nothing compared to the anxiety and terror I experienced. The therapist here are very good, unfortunately the one person in charge of all patients medications has no respect or dignity for the people he was placed in authority over. I don’t know how such a situation came to be- but I went here for 5 years and the nurse practitioner, Sledge couldn’t place my face and name. I went through a pregnancy, weened complete off my medication, and after I gave birth was put back on the dose I STARTED WOTH. No tox screen, no question. It was obvious he had no idea who I was even after all this time and a pregnancy, but it wasn’t until I lost or someone took 8 of the medication I take. When I spoke to Sledge, I told him I never in 5 years had an issue with medication before. And he told me, “that’s no my problem. Go to the emergency room.” And hung up on me. I called my therapist there, and she truly tried to rectify the issue, until Sledge suddenly picked up the phone and said, “I don’t care who talks to me. I’m not putting in anything for you.” Then I realized that I’m not a patient or a person to this man; we’re all criminals and he doesn’t have any respect and even dignity for any of the people that he prescribed medication too. I don’t know how many incidents happened involving this man, but I can tell you that I paid $99 for a same day script on QuickMed to bridge me over until I found an appropriate provider. The dr that wrote that script was unable to understand why I went to the same place for 5 years and they refused to help me. This dr didn’t know me from Adam and bridged the gap that the 8 missing medication caused. If you’re taking a medication that is the difference between life or death, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. If the new Dr didn’t help me, I would of had to go to the ER with my 1 yr old.
