I was prescribed active PT based on neck MRI results of my spine. I was not seeking PT for acute pain. I found Dr. Alipio on my insurance's website- she was listed as in-network. Dr. Alipio's name is on the practice for Roadside Physical Therapy but she is not who I saw, which is fine though it was not explained to me. This review is for Roadside Therapy on Warren Street. My experience was terrible. My therapist did not introduce herself so I have no idea what qualifications she had or what her title was. I didn't know her name until I asked. She did not explain the purpose of our session- she mumbled, made no eye contact, and was very hard to understand because she didn't want to speak up despite wearing a mask. For the substance of the session itself, I felt invisible, rushed, and that the therapist did not care about me or my condition. She did not explain anything for the rehab movements she was showing me. No cues, no real instructions beyond "do this." I declined the massage or needling that was offered at the end of the session. Honestly, by then I didn't trust the therapist and just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The space didn't look very nice on top of everything else. I will never go back to Roadside and will discourage anyone who is serious about physical rehab to avoid the place. I did not find a partner that could work with me and educate me on my body.
