Samaritan Daytop Village

For now I m not going to say much, I appreciate this place and it helped me s lot more than I thought. I can maintain sobor and get my life together, even though I was discharged for bring contractband into the facility, that was my mistake to do that. The reason I gave it 3 star is because this place have gang member and I got threatened by some people who were running cigarettes and candy and k2 and crack and dope or selling their medications. I was stole twice by the residents of the Samaritan village. Staff members are good but they chose to let some of the people goy away from the sales of cigarettes and other stuff . I don't feel safe about the place because there were more than just fist punch and I have seen that before and people were arrested for money and drugs and pills in the place and someone actually got cut on the chest .

Hi everybody! I am a current resident at Samaritan village's inpatient and methadone facility and I think they have a wonderful program! I have been to many programs and this is by far the best. In their residential program, you have access you methadone maintainence although it is not required, you receive your psychiatric medications and have an on premises psychiatrist and primary care Dr although you may see your own. I see theirs and they are wonderful. They do not chastise you if your on a controlled psychiatric medications, it is considered and often allowed if you have a diagnosed. They offer both methadone and Suboxone and the clinic in the Richmond Hill facility has their methadone clinic right downstairs so you can dose upon waking up. The staff is caring and professional, and the community is caring as well. Well that's about all I have to say! If you are struggling with substance abuse and looking to change your life, look no further! This place is 5* and fully covered by almost all insurance as far as I know! I have Medicaid and they cover my services here God bless you all!
