I had never had a 24 hour EEG until my new neurologist recommended I have one done. The thought of driving to a facility 45 minutes away from my home to have electrodes placed on my scalp, then driving home attached to this equipment, and then driving back the next morning to have it removed seemed overwhelming. During my efforts to find a more convenient location I found out about Safe Passage Neuromonitoring and their home visit program. It was still rather cumbersome and uncomfortable to be hooked up to all the gear overnight, but it was much better than needing to travel even a short distance. The service was extraordinarily good. My neurologist , who is conscientious and thorough, was very impressed with the quality of the test and the report she received. She also spoke with the neurologist who prepared the report and told me he was exceptionally well qualified.
