I booked via ZocDoc which doesn't say when you book you won't be seeing the doctor listed you see one of their colleagues. I wasn't thrilled because I specifically wanted to see a doctor and not a PA as I've had issues with multiple PAs in the past. My main issue is their support staff. After weeks of being weaned off lexapro, I was prescribed Caplyta, which is a new drug. My insurance only covers 40% of the cost making it over a 1000 a month, even with a manufacturer coupon it costs more than all my other medication combined. I have been going back and forth with their pharmacy email. I asked if they would try to request a tier exception or have my PA prescribe something else. After having to explain and walk them through how to apply for a tier exception, I found out 4 days later they never sent in the form. My PA seems insistent I take this specific pill. Today is day 9, and they just sent over the form. It's going to be at least another 3 business days before I hear anything from my insurance. The doctors are lovely, but their office staff needs to be trained better or let go. This is the worst medical office I've ever dealt with all because of their support staff.
