I had a root canal at Rainbow Dental located 2509 36th Ave in Astoria. Dr. Ram and Fatema were absolutely amazing! I have a real fear of dental work and had severe anxiety prior to my appointment. Dr. Ram kept asking me if I was okay and made sure I felt no pain while he was working on me. Towards the end, while he was working on my crown, I could feel it, so he gave me stronger numbing shots, which was a bit uncomfortable, and Fatema took my hand to calm me down, and she told me to squeeze her hand if I needed to. The work I had done today was in the back of my mouth so while it was one root canal, my one tooth had 3 canals. I was there for 3.5 hours. They not only did incredible work, but they continuously checked in on me and made my experience as easy and painless as possible. If you are looking for a dental office where the dentists and assistants care, this is the dentist office for you. I promise that you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Dr. Ram and Fatema! You’re truly the best!

Told me my insurance didn’t cover anything but pulling my teeth, some fillings and the yearly cleaning. Cleaning was a joke for a couple of minutes, ground my gums, hurt me and made me bleed, and then left that awful paste all over my face and mouth. Told me I had almost a dozen fillings needing work. Drilled out random teeth that had been good and not initially marked for work. Filled only some of them and glued multiple teeth together with the permanent filling material. My tooth was stuck to my older crown. Flossing broke the crown. The unfilled tooth, which had no need for filling, where they drilled turned into extensive damage from the initial hole, causing pain and expensive repairs. Also oral surgeon they referred me to was a hack job. Don’t remember any part of the visit but there are bone particles on the side of my jaw under my gums that hurt if touched and areas that hurt when pressed. And they didnt send me home with any antibiotics or pain meds.
