Pediatric Services at Mount Sinai Queens

No matter how early we show up for an appointment, we are never seen on time. Dr Clemens is always running behind. It is frustrating since we live far now and have to take the LIRR to see him. I’ve known him since my first child was two years old, and she’s now 24. I think it is time to find another pediatrician close to home.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Brozinsky for about 3 years now. I'd say my experience has been somewhat disappointing. Her skills and competencies are great. But I'd always be left with an impression that I'm sort of control freak or try to medically overdose my kid. She'd always put me in awkward situation in front of my daughter to the point where my daughter questions my actions to help her, such as spending less hours on ipad. Dr. Brozinsky said that there is no association between eye pain (which my daughter has been experiencing) and screen time (average daily screen time is 4-7 hrs). My point here is my concern from a parent perspective never gets addressed. We've been to ER several days ago, she didn't even ask what was the reason. So please listen to what parents have to say. We know what works and what doesn't work for our child. The next thing is not directly related to the doctor, but it is extremely difficult to book appointment. Every time I call the hospital, I have to repeat the same information, even for follow up or asking for form. What happens is that I get connected to the general receptionist which then will connect me to the department. You need to be mentally strong to get in contact. We're not coming back to this doctor. I can't even have my daughter's blood work results due to confidentiality which I respect. To obtain that, I have to go through the same ordeal again. horrible!!
