I should have read the reviews prior to making appointments here. I came to Mt Sinai twice over the last two months for separate appointments. First I had to wait around 2 months to get scheduled in for a PRIMARY care visit. When I went, the level of care and attention was next to nothing. I also had to wait 2 months for a gyno appointment. When I went for that, I waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hours. I kept following up on my appt time and the front desk was not only unhelpful and didn’t know how to do their job, but also gave me an absurd amount of attitude. Seems like my time is worth nothing. This was for 10:30 in the morning and I was on the clock. The front desk seems very inept- for a job that seems very simple. Not only that but the health care providers need to schedule themselves better. We can’t be sitting around waiting on them the entire days. We have jobs.

Wow after reading reviews about this healthcare practice, I decided to make an appointment. When you call, the staff member picks up the phone and sounds like she didn't want to work there anymore. You will always get put on hold for longer than 20 minutes. Hello Mt. Sinai, that's not how you make money by shooing away patients. I'll find another place that takes patient care as seriously as the smaller doctor's office. You guys need training.
