This place is just pure chaos. Therapists were always late, appointments were always double-booked, and I once overheard a therapist openly unpacking her session with a patient near the front desk. My psychiatrist arrived 45 minutes late to our appointment, she told me that hour-long delays were normal, her exact words were "if you have stuff to do, don't book me" and "I may even be a no show," which checks out because she's rescheduled on me twice before I met her, it took her a week to send my prescription to the pharmacy, and she was visibly annoyed that I was frustrated, even though I swallowed my pride and treated her with respect. And I'm pretty sure the nice lady at reception told me she's only one of two psychiatrists they have, so if you're behind on your meds, good luck pal. Although I liked my therapist, the intake and matching process took nearly two months. What ultimately pushed me to leave a review was the hostile response I received from the director when I asked her to close my case. I saw someone else left a 1 star review after speaking with someone over the phone, I thought they were talking about the front desk, I didn't know they were referring to the person running the place This is completely against protocol, outpatient mental health providers are supposed to be impartial and accommodating, intake should be prompt and anyone should be able to opt out as easily as they opt in, without any kind of aggressive pushback, this isn't jail, it's voluntary care, and being so rude and unprofessional in such a role is just crazy to me. Based on my experience, this practice may be a better fit for children than adults who need structure and professionalism from their mental health providers. The facility isn't even run down, understaffed, or underfunded, it's just super unprofessional.
