Had my son there 18 years ago. Horrible experience. My son was ok but they treated me horribly. Had a C-section and seems as if I didn't get enough pain meds. I was in so much pain. Nurses were rude. Hopsital was just ghetto. I was young and inexperienced at the time but this experience made me expect more from a hospital. If staff is rude or I don't like something I go somewhere else. I refuse to have a bad experience like that again. It haunted me for years.

This hospital has some of the worst hospitality service in the Bronx. The staff is rude and seem as a matter of fact about medical issues that appear to be important. My mother went for a heart blockage and was put in a room with a patient with obvious covid symptoms. 2+ years my mother has avoided covid by masking and isolation from the public. She is in lady of mercy for 4 days and now has covid. To add insult to injury, she cannot have her procedure because she has covid which she caught from going to the hospital. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. The level of professional care is slim to none at Lady of Mercy (Montifiore)
