I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Orenda Psychiatry. My provider, Dr. Cox, is truly wonderful. She is thorough, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I always feel heard and understood during our appointments, and she takes the time to explore every possible option to address my concerns. Their customer service is also excellent. Any time I text their number, I receive a prompt response and my questions or issues are handled quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Orenda Psychiatry to anyone seeking psychiatric care.

As much as I absolutely adore Dr. Catherine Colson who I have been seeing through Orenda, the administrative side of this company is so deeply frustrating. After seeing Dr. Colson for a year under the same insurance with no issues, Orenda's billing provider (Headway) miscategorized an appointment causing me to be out of network. Instead of calling/emailing and explaining the situation, Orenda just emailed me saying I'd have to pay $180 out of pocket. I then had to do the heavy lifting of figuring out what the actual problem was (calling my insurance, Headway and Orenda multiple times). As it turns out, they could've just been dealing with it on their end the entire time (no HIPAA restrictions, etc.). It feels as though they put the burden on their patients, super unprofessional for a provider that literally deals with mental health, stress, etc. Maybe it's just the billing team (standard customer service was also super helpful when tracking down backordered meds), but the amount of hoops they make you jump through is absolutely ridiculous.
