This place slaps. The doctors slap. The nurses slap. It’s always such a great experience. My blood draw anxiety has improved since I started going here. I just feel so grateful for their care. Dr. Emily Caruso is great and so is nurse Vince! They are so responsive in the app and the experience is everything I’ve wanted. Been going for several years now.

I want to be very clear at the outset: the medical provider I saw during my brief appointment was excellent. The clinician was professional, attentive, and provided high-quality care. This review is not about the provider or the clinical experience. Unfortunately, the billing practices and post-visit handling were deeply disappointing and misleading. Prior to the visit, all patient-facing information I reviewed referenced either a $0 copayment or a clearly stated low out-of-pocket cost. At no point before the visit was I given a written or verbal cost estimate, nor was I informed that the visit would be billed to insurance at a dramatically higher rate. After the fact, I learned that the visit was submitted to insurance at $280, which insurance did not cover — resulting in an unexpected charge I never agreed to and was never warned about. Had I been told in advance that the visit would be billed at this amount, I would have asked questions, requested a written estimate, or made a different decision. That opportunity was never provided. One medical itself has one off visits for $49 so it was very strange that my insurance was billed for $280. What has been most frustrating is the weeks-long back-and-forth with billing and support, during which every response I’ve received has been some version of a copy-and-paste script that fails to address the actual issue: Why was no cost estimate disclosed, and why does the advertised pricing not align with the billing reality? There has been no meaningful explanation, no acknowledgment of the lack of transparency, and no sense that anyone is empowered to actually review or resolve the issue. It feels intentionally opaque.
