Had a great experience with the Peds ER in March after a bad experience at Maimonides. My baby had an accident with the stroller and we wanted to go to NYU first but the ambulance could only bring us to Maimo 🙄. After a terrible experience and a missed diagnosis, I went to NYU two days later after my daughter developed a hematoma on her head. Thankfully, these docs found the problem! From the moment we checked in until we were discharged, the staff was amazing! They all have amazing bedside manner. The nurses were also SO kind. Dr. Gifford listened to us and gave us such detailed information about my daughter’s injury and recovery. We really had a great experience and were out pretty quickly. The only reason for 4 stars is because the waiting room experience needs improvement. It’s not big enough and not that clean. One other thing to mention is that there was a mistake in our discharge papers regarding my daughter condition. Still had a great experience though.
