Ny Sportsmed And Physical Therapy

I would like to thank all the staff at this SportsMed PT office for the excellent care I have received. I am very grateful to my chiropractor Paul, and the physical therapy team — True, Melissa and everyone else for their individual approach, sincere concern and the fact that they devote enough time to each patient. They really care about helping people and bringing them results. The therapy they provided had a real impact on my recovery and I saw significant improvements. I am also grateful to Angelica and all the reception staff for always being friendly and helpful.

I chose SportsMed and this particular location simply by proximity, since I wasn't able to drive and could walk only with a walker. The front office checked with my insurance beforehand and informed me about copays, and all was correct. It was also easy to make appointments which fit my schedule. My first impression when I came there was mixed as the place seemed too crowded to get proper attention, and I prefer more guidance on exercises at first but after the first week everything fell into place: - waiting time 0-10 min, - adequate time with the therapist (Melisa, sometimes True) before or after the exercises, - focus on my progress and goals, - post-exercise "icing session" (in my case), every time, 10 min. They follow a regular protocol and standard of care as, say, JAG, which I used previously and was happy with. After 4 weeks I feel much-much better and I am grateful to Melisa, Paul (chiropractor), and True for working with me. I look forward to these sessions. That's my personal experience so far, few more weeks to go.
