This office committed fraud by billing my health insurance company for services not rendered. I visited the office on 2/23/21 in an attempt to complete a physical in order to obtain medical clearance for elective surgery. I was informed (by the doctor) it would take two weeks (never heard of this in my life) to complete all the necessary blood work. For this reason, I decided to seek medical assistance elsewhere. I made the doctor aware of my decision and left. No services where rendered and I did not consent to anything on this day. Unfortunately, this office billed my health insurance for $1,370.00 for the following. Prevention screening exam Venipuncture Diagnostics (listed/charged twice) Laboratory services (listed/charged twice) Other medical procedure (listed/charged 15 times) Depression screening Alcohol/Subtance abuse screening (listed/charged 3 times) Contraceptive counseling This is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, criminal, disgusting and has been reported for investigation. I recommend going to a doctor you can trust entirely.
