TOTP is an iconic Queens venue and any Queens native knows about it. My sister held her wedding here in the Penthouse Room and it was beautiful. The views are spectacular and while the room holds about 200 people, it feels intimate without feeling crowded. The room has a bridal suite, private bathrooms and access to the rooftop. This is a venue with multiple rooms and parties going on at the same time. Using the PH interaction with other parties is minimal, however if the cocktail hour is held on the ground floor expect to see others. Cocktail hour was held in 3 connected rooms on the ground floor. The food was pretty good. The dumplings were delicious as was the fried calamari. There was a good amount of variety offered to please everyone. Dinner was also good which started with a salad and offered 3 entree options. The steak was tender and cooked well. The cake was provided by Cascon and was beautiful and delicious. The acoustics in the PH room are great and the dance floor gives everyone enough room to dance their hearts out. The bartenders during the reception were quick so there never seemed to be a long line waiting for drinks. There were a few minor things that could have been a little better but nothing that made the wedding any less wonderful. My sister worked with Ricky the entire time and for the most part he was pretty accommodating. My sister's wedding was fantastic and Terrace was a big part of contributing to that.
