Never go here. You're better off seeking care in a war torn country's field triage. I thought this would have been a professional establishment because it's located on 14th Street in Manhattan but to my dismay it wasn't. Coupet's office is still run like we're in the pandemic with strict distancing rules and cramped plexiglass barriers up between seating. She was 45 minutes late & when I complained to the receptionist, she angrily responded "well there's someone ahead of you!" When I finally saw Dr. Coupet for my annual checkup she was very monotone and standoffish even when I tried to crack a joke for some levity. Not only did she miscalculate my height but she also hooked me up to some old ECG equipment without my permission. When I inquired why and if I would be billed for it she simply replied that I would be billed extra and why wouldn't I want and EKG. I then had to beg her for the results of my bloodwork and was told to download some app to see it. She never called me to discuss the bloodwork like my previous doctors did, so I had to call her but not before the gatekeeping receptionists reluctantly patched me through. I had intended to switch doctors the next year but needed shots and bloodwork for emergency travel and when I saw Dr. Coupet the next time, she was just as disinterested in me as a patient as the last time. Her grumpy assistant took my blood in a small storage room with the door open as staff and other doctors marched in and out of this cramped space to get things out of the mini fridge. I asked the assistant if she could close the door and she grudgingly agreed. Following that, Dr. Coupet tells me that if I needed the vaccination I would have to go next door to the pharmacy and pick it up myself. She wrote me the prescription and I had to manually walk over to the pharmacy, pay for the vaccine & walk it back over to her office so that her staff could give it to me! If I didn't truly need the shots I would never visit Dr. Coupet or her office ever again. If you wanted to be treated with a level of dismissiveness and Depression Era customer service then this is the place for you.
