Beware!!! The office was friendly and the doctor I saw was kind, helpful and gave good treatment. It was all fast. HOWEVER- beware that this location says they are an “urgent care” but uses “emergency room” billing practices. I was billed three times the cost of what a non preferred urgent care is supposed to bill according to my insurance and told over and over that this is because this location touches a hospital. The following was point blank admitted to me by both my insurance and the people at Mt. Sinai: This location says it is an urgent care and has the services of an urgent care but bills as an emergency room even though it does NOT have the services of an emergency room. Everyone at my insurance & at Mt. Sinai who I spoke to seems to think it is ok to advertise one way and bill another, more expensive, way. If you do not want a surprise bill, avoid this location.
