It's been a rough 20 years. My two kids moved out and without anything to occupy my mind I began to fall out of love with my wife. We argued every single day and one day she told me she couldn't stand me anymore, and I had to get therapy or get out. When we started working with Dr. Monaco, I couldn't believe how thorough her approach was. She helped us get right to the root of our issues and connect again. My wife and I are planning to renew our vows in September. Dr. Monaco absolutely saved our marriage.

When we first got married, we were enthralled. We had been together for 6 years prior and this seemed like the perfect time to settle down and start a family. We moved into New York City following our marriage and soon after, we found that the space was too small to be divided evenly. We started to argue about whose belongings took up more space, who would do most of the housework, whether we had the budget to have children. These arguments divided us like never before. Eventually, a relative recommended Dr. Monaco to us. Through our work with Dr. Monaco, we realized we were projecting our past issues onto one another and not truly listening to one another, therefore invalidating one another’s feelings. As we became aware of this, we were eventually able to address our issues and work as a team rather than opposing parties. We turned a hopeless situation into a happier one and we are expecting our first child soon. Dr. Monaco is a wonderful couple's therapist, and we would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing relationship issues.
