I was not properly diagnosed by Dr Dollar. He diagnosed me with BiPolar disorder. The actual diagnosis was Borderline Personality disorder. The difference being that Borderlines have multiple moods throughout the day as opposed to BiPolars who tend to have the same moods for multiple days. I saw him for about 8 years so it is my opinion that there was enough time to give the correct diagnosis. However it has been noted that both BiPolar and Borderline have many of the same behaviors such as impulsivity, anger, depression etc. We tried different meds but ended up with 600 mgs Seroquel a night. The largest dose permitted. And looking back, I think it was too much. Prescribers I have seen recently both mentioned they were not really fans of the drug saying that it effects REM sleep. If you are trying to save money do not go to Dr Dollar. His charge is about $200 per half hour session. But that does include phone calls. CONCLUSION There are plenty of other Doctors you can go to and not spend that kind of money. And in my case, I was misdiagnosed
